Rich, do you know what the range is on the LSX75/78? When comparing the 75/78 to it's Thailand (if memory serves me right) built knock off, it fails to meet the standards of the 75/78. For using the same engine set up, and being a bit shorter than the 75, it is slower and has a deeper draft, however it does have a larger fuel tank, so that's why I am curious to see the difference in the ranges, which I assume is longer on the knock off due to it's larger tank, but the 75/78 most likely has the better fuel economy (shallower draft & higher top end with same engine set up).

Thanks, Rich for the quick reply.

I have a question for you. Does it upset you that other boat builders are copying the LSX design on their own yachts. Or do you take that as the greatest compliment that any boat designer could ever receive?

Will the bridge clearance on the LSX 78 be the same as the LSX 75? The shallow draft and low bridge clearance on the LSX 75 made for a fast, sea going, canal boat that could just about go anywhere.

David, Yes the 75 will be replaced by the 78. You can get the 78 without a flybridge though.
