Lazzara LSX78 With New Features For 2011

The latest launch at Lazzara was an LSX78 painted a platinum color. The LSX78 which made its debut in October 09′ continues to evolve. The additions on the 2011 model will include a foredeck seating arrangement with two cocktail tables. This area still maintains a forward sunpad but in addition to that gains an expansive seating group.

One of the other added features for the 2011 model will be the increase size of the aft deck. The seating moves aft to accommodate an “U”shaped seating group while still maintaining a sunpad. The aft deck increases in overall size giving you more room for entertainment. In addition you will notice a beautifully crafted polished stainless steel and teak stairway going up to the flybridge.

Lastly the transom “beach” feature Lazzara yachts invented and made popular with the LSX92, is now available on the LSX78. This feature allows you to launch the tender and then convert the transom space into a great gathering and entertaining area. In addition we have increase the tender storage capacity to now include a much larger tender, up to 12′6″ in length.

New Wild Color On Lazzara LSX78

The latest launch of the Lazzara LSX78 introduced a custom metallic sky blue paint. The LSX78 continues in the success set by the LSX75 over the past three years. The next three hulls, having all been sold, will each have a unique and custom color. Also look for some exciting new design elements coming on this line over the rest of the year.

I had planned to do a video today from the inside of the LSX120 mold but the microphone I have wasn’t going to work. Sooo I ordered a new one and hopefully it will be here Monday and I can shoot the video.

In the meantime, I just got the photos from the exterior shoot we did on the new LSX78 Fly. I think you’ll agree she looks great. The amazing thing is how the flybridge just blends in and doesn’t add to the profile height visually. She is one of the best looking yachts we’ve ever built. Plus with the painted red hull you can’t miss her.

It’s that time and we are ready! The 2009 Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show is upon us. We will be located at Facedock 5 from Oct 29 – Nov 2. We will have all kinds of new stuff to debut this year. I talk about all of it in this weeks video including giving my opinion of how we will do at the Boat Sell this year.

So here are the latest renderings of the newest Lazzara, the LSX78 fly. In addition to the new flybridge we have lengthend the platform on the boat making it 78′ . We also took your feedback from the poll we ran several months ago and painted in red, actually more Merlot in tone. I believe we are the first boat company to use social media and get an actionable item on a boats design. Thanks to everyone who voted.

You can see the new flybridge arrangement gives you much more seating as well as lowers the overall profile by eliminating the hardtop (like on the LSX92). With the edition of the flybridge this express yacht really creates a new category. Remember this is a 78′ yacht with 4 full staterooms, plus crew. Add on the flybridge and we are offering motor yacht type volume in an express yacht package. Plus this yacht will come with a stabilizer system, which again is a feature traditionally reserved for the motor yacht class. There is no doubt that this will be the hit of the boat show.

We will be debuting the yacht at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show October 29th – November 2nd at the Bahia Mar Marina. Please stop by and see us at our usual facedock location.

LSX75 Fly Model

The 1″ scale model of the new LSX75 Flybridge edition is now complete. We recently debut the model at the Owners Summer Party and it was very well recieved. I think you will agree that the new additions to an already great yacht make it even more desirable. The obvious addition of the flybridge is not only functional with a full helm station, but it effortlessly blends with the styling of the LSX. Not content to just put a flybridge on her, we also added a foredeck seating group, larger aft deck seating group, enlarged the aft deck area and increase the size of the swim platform. Look for the LSX75Fly to make her debut this October at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show. In the meantime you can vote for the color that we should paint the first one. Youll see the voting located in the lower right hand corner of this webpage.

Black Tie Event

When the new LSX75Fly makes its’ debut this October, one thing is for sure, it will blow you away. Whether we decided to paint it or not has yet to be determined, however I think you will agree that it completly changes the look of the yacht. This particular color combination of black hull with white deck reminds me of a black tie event. You can go to our website to see the LSX75fly in all red. Let us know what you think. Should we paint it? What color?

LSX75 Fly

Here are the latest renderings of the new LSX75 Fly that will debut fall 2009. Some of things you will notice right away are the addition of the flybridge level, the larger aft deck seating and the new foredeck seating group. This yacht will be a great addition to an already exceptional product line.

FLYBRIDGE

The flybridge will have a large sunpad aft, seating group and a full navigational helm. This flybridge will be the largest of any express flybrdige on the market.

AFT DECK

The aft deck sunpad that is on the LSX75 is now converted into a U shaped seating group, making the seating capacity much larger as well as giving you another 3′ of floor space on the aft deck. Of course since you have the large sunpad on the flybridge you wont all together loose that feature.

FOREDECK

The foredeck seating group will have a very large settee along with two smaller tables and a sunpad fwd of that. This area has become increasingly popular as a place to gather for lunch or afternoon cocktails

There is also more to come in this new design, but I will save that for another post.
