Lazzara LSX92, The Silver Bullet

We’ve recently launched our newest yacht, the LSX92 and she is stunning. This is the first boat that we’ve painted a platinum color and it really changes the look of the boat. If you havent seen photos of the interior of the LSX92, you can see them here. She made her debut at the Miami Boat show last month and will be showcasing at the upcoming West Palm Beach Boat Show, March 25-28. What’s New With the LMC76? Video Blog #13

This week we review what’s new with the LMC76 and the LSX120. We also were covered in the WSJ, where I was misquoted, but we get that corrected. As you know we recently sold the first LMC76 and the boat will be making its’ debut in first quarter 2010. I must say, this was probably my favorite video that I’ve made so far. Two weeks ago I made some guarantees when it came to selling at this years Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show. Going into this show I was certainly confident we would sell some yachts. I even guaranteed it in last weeks video. After the first two days I am very excited about the prospects that are out there. In fact we sold an LSX78 on day one AND another on day two. Selling one a day is a good goal for us to have! Overall I know that the traffic is down only slightly at our display when compared to last year. However people are buying yachts again. And that’s the best news so far. The LSX78 is a HUGE success. I’m looking forward to the next three days and hope to continue the one boat a day sales trend.

New Lazzara LSX78 fly

So here are the latest renderings of the newest Lazzara, the LSX78 fly. In addition to the new flybridge we have lengthend the platform on the boat making it 78′ . We also took your feedback from the poll we ran several months ago and painted in red, actually more Merlot in tone. I believe we are the first boat company to use social media and get an actionable item on a boats design. Thanks to everyone who voted.

You can see the new flybridge arrangement gives you much more seating as well as lowers the overall profile by eliminating the hardtop (like on the LSX92). With the edition of the flybridge this express yacht really creates a new category. Remember this is a 78′ yacht with 4 full staterooms, plus crew. Add on the flybridge and we are offering motor yacht type volume in an express yacht package. Plus this yacht will come with a stabilizer system, which again is a feature traditionally reserved for the motor yacht class. There is no doubt that this will be the hit of the boat show.

We will be debuting the yacht at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show October 29th – November 2nd at the Bahia Mar Marina. Please stop by and see us at our usual facedock location.

Lazzara LSX92 wins Best Interior Award

The annual Yachts Magazine Awards were held in Cannes, France right on the beach in front of the Carlton Hotel. This year the LSX92 was nominated in three categories which was the most of any other yacht. In each of the three categories (Best Design, Best Interior, Most Innovative) three yachts were nominated and then at the ceremony the winners were announced. It is a prestigoius event and one that Lazzara has one two years previous, first (2006) for the Lazzara 84 and then (2007) for the LSX75. Special thanks to Michel Karsenti, CEO and Publisher of Yachts Magazine.

Canne Boat Show, getting ready

It’s that time of the year again. The 2009 Cannes Boat Show is from Sept 9 -14th. We will be displaying our LSX75 at slip JAN019 and if your in the area feel free to stop by for a tour. I can tell you that the participation of manufactuers and vendors does not appear to be down when compared to the last several years. With the economies impact on our industry I had expected to see less participation, smaller displays, etc. However that doesnt seem to be the case. I will post some updates from time to time on our Twitter account HERE and our Facebook account HERE.

In the meantime enjoy some quick photos HERE I took of the LSX moving into the show yesterday.
